Registration is handled through our online partners. Younger programs register through TeamSnap — for example, our Little Aledos sign-up (register on TeamSnap). Competitive academy and select players register through GotSport (player registration). The exact link for your program is listed on that program's page, so start there and we'll point you to the right form.

TeamSnap is where we run team communication, schedules, and sign-ups for our recreational and younger programs like Little Aledos. GotSport is the official platform for competitive player registration, rostering, and league play. Depending on your child's program, you'll use one or the other — the program page will tell you which.

US Soccer uses birth-year age groups: a player's age group is based on the calendar year they were born, not their grade or school year. For the 2026–27 season, a player's U group equals 2027 minus their birth year (for example, a player born in 2019 plays U8 — they turn 8 in 2027). We have a pathway for every kid in Aledo: Little Aledos (ages 4–6, recreational 4v4 in the Aledo Soccer League — no tryout required), Aledo Juniors (ages 7–10, recreational 7v7 in the Aledo Soccer League — no tryout required), Academy Teams (U7–U10, competitive 4v4/7v7/9v9 in the Arlington Academy League — tryout required), Select Teams (U11–U15, competitive 9v9 and 11v11 in the Arlington API League — tryout required), and Men's Semi-Pro (MPL2). Our camps and clinics run year-round alongside the team programs.

Fees vary by program, age group, and season length — recreational programs are the most affordable, and competitive select teams carry higher costs for league play, referees, and travel. Current pricing is listed on each program's page. Aledo Soccer Club is a nonprofit, so fees are set to cover the real cost of quality coaching, not to profit.

Yes. We never want cost to be the reason a child can't play. Many of our programs offer installment payment plans at checkout, and we also run a Financial Aid Program for families who need additional support. Reach out before registering and we'll work with you.

Absolutely. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, keeping soccer accessible is core to our mission. We offer need-based scholarships through our Financial Aid Program. Apply confidentially, and we'll do our best to get your player on the pitch.

Once your player is registered and placed on a team, we'll share kit ordering details for that program. Our uniforms are ordered through our official kit partner so every player has the correct, consistent Aledo strip. Order early — production and delivery take time ahead of the season.

Players need the official club jersey, shorts, and socks, plus their own soccer cleats and shin guards (required for all training and matches). A ball and a labeled water bottle should come to every session. Little Aledos have lighter requirements — the program page lists exactly what's needed.

Every session: cleats, shin guards (required), the team kit or training top, a size-appropriate ball, and a full, labeled water bottle. Dress for the weather — warm layers in the cold, light clothing and sunscreen in the heat. Please label everything with your child's name.

Aledo Soccer Club trains and plays right here in Aledo. Our permanent home venue is The Stable at 601 E FM 1187, with additional sessions at local venues including McAnally Middle School turf. Your specific training location and times are confirmed through TeamSnap once your player is placed.

Yes — our permanent home is The Stable (601 E FM 1187, Aledo), where youth programs train and most game days take place. Men's Semi-Pro trains at McAnally Middle School turf on Wednesday nights. We also train and play indoors at Frontrunner Fieldhouse in Fort Worth. See our venues on the Our Facilities page.

Recreational and younger programs like Little Aledos don't require tryouts — every child has a place. Competitive Academy and Select teams hold tryouts so we can place players on the right team for their development. Tryout dates are posted ahead of each season; register for your tryout on the Try ASC page and come ready to play.

There's a place for every kid at Aledo. If a competitive roster isn't the right fit yet, we'll guide you toward the program that is — whether that's a development team, a younger age group, or our camps and clinics to keep growing. The goal is always the next right step for your player.

For summer 2026, one camp week remains: Pre Season Camp (July 27–31 at The Stable, ages 5–14, NEW TIME due to heat — 8AM–11AM mornings, $250/week or $60/day drop-in). Little Aledos Summer Series (ages 4–6) runs weekly through July 31 at The Stable. For details and to register, see the full summer lineup.

Yes — ASC runs camps year-round. Winter Camp is a three-morning Thanksgiving-week session for ages 6–14 (November 23–25, 2026, 9AM–12PM at The Stable, $160 full camp or $60/day drop-in). Spring Break Camp is a five-morning March week for ages 6–14 (March 15–19, 2027, 9AM–12PM at The Stable, $250/week or $60/day). No membership required — all levels welcome. No. All ASC camps are open to every player — current ASC members, players from other clubs, and beginners alike. Coaches group by age and ability from day one so everyone is in the right session. No tryout and no prior membership is required.

Men's Semi-Pro home matches are held at our home ground in Aledo. Tickets are available online — get your tickets here. Home games are open to all ages and are the loudest night in town.

Our Men's team competes in MPL2 (Metroplex Premier League). If you're interested in playing, visit our Men's Team page to learn more and submit a player inquiry. We look for quality players who match our standards and our culture.

The 24-hour rule protects the game-day experience for the kids. We ask that parents not approach coaches with complaints or concerns about playing time, tactics, or officiating on match day or immediately after. Wait 24 hours, then reach out calmly — emotions settle, conversations go better, and players benefit.

Refund eligibility depends on the program and how close it is to the season start, since we commit to coaching, kit, and league costs in advance. Requests are handled case by case — contact the club as early as possible and we'll do our best to be fair. Full details are provided at registration.

Player safety comes first. We follow US Soccer weather standards, including the 30-minute lightning rule and heat and cold guidelines. Sessions may be modified, delayed, or cancelled — and we communicate changes through TeamSnap as early as we can. See our full Environmental Policies for details.

Weather and schedule changes are sent through TeamSnap, so make sure your notifications are turned on. When a decision is a close call, we err on the side of safety. If lightning or thunder occurs during a session, all activity stops and can't resume until 30 minutes after the last strike.
